An air resistance reduction material developed with the aim to win medals at the Athens Olympics. Using multiple types of materials as a base, the drag characteristics that co-occur with speed changes were measured and analyzed in a wind tunnel lab using a three force component measuring device. In this way, suitable conditions required for cycling were calculated to develop the material. The drag force was reduced by a maximum of roughly 50% compared to existing materials (company comparison). The drag force was reduced at almost all speed ranges, from the initial acceleration to the intermediate speed ranges to the top speed ranges, proving to be a revolutionary material for challenging one’s records.

The multi-layered structure provides high sweat absorption and diffusion. A 2-way stretch material that does not rewet the skin or retain liquid after sweating, saving the user from the discomfort of chills and stickiness.
